Esteemed Mr. Bernard Krisher,

Acknowledging the receipt of your letters of March 9 and 12, I
inform you that I agree with your visit to our country together with your
daughter at the beginning of April timing the arrival of 200 tons of rice
to be purchased in Thailand with the delivery of the van, medical equipment
and drugs including aid material for the flood victims.

In this regard, you are kindly requested to inform us of the exact
timing of your visit, air route, visa application and shipment of aid
materials, etc. in advance.

I would further inform you that Wonsan port is not a boundary spot
for foreigners, so please come to Pyongyang by air or train via Beijing as
you did before.

I would also like to inform you that you may send your proposed
van, medical equipment and drugs to be purchased in Japan through the
"Mangyongbong 92" to the DPRK, rice and foodstuff shall also be included.

In the meantime the Third Hospital of Pyongyang requested me to
inform you that a simple sign may be painted on the side of the van
indicating it is a donation from the Christian Medical Mission to the Third
Hospital as follows:

                        LOGO

Concerning the hepatitis B vaccine, I was requested to inform you
not to send it because we produce it in our country.

I thank you for your active efforts you are making after the
recovery of your health for the assistance to our flood damages and look
forward to your earliest reply.

Sincerely yours,
