Dear Sir,

I. S.Korean, appreciate cordially your devoted effort for your helping N.Korean. I'd like to join with my small help the current program of S. Korea's for food relief.

On the other hand, I'd like to mention about dual emotion of average S. Koreans in viewing the current situation of the North. That is, they feel very deep simpathy at current miserable situation and in the meantime have strong doubt if such a help would become one to relieve the people of N. Korea eventually. Also, all the people and the authority were pleased to support N.Korea with rice of probably Mt 150,000 at the initial stage but, you know, in return N.Korea's troop killed many people in the South ( it's one example.).Yes, now it's in urgent situation there and it's not in the stage mentioning such a political matter. However, it's emotional dillema of not only South authority but also average people who are willing to join the aid. it's real. In fact, in the view of S.Koreans,at this moment it is very difficult to figure out what action would be righteous eventually in saving the people.

I think, if the S. Korea should be condemned at their negativeness, such a condemnation should be made not only to S. Korean Government but also average people themselves.

One of average S. koreans, I , eagerly hope that N.Korea should not be any longer engaged in strage crime activities such as air-plain bombing, killing terrorism.
We are people with emotion.

I respect your aid effort and it is really humanitarian and sacred activity. Also, all Korean , whether the South or the North, will never forget your activity for good, likely as now we have not forgotten thw previous world's aid at the South's starving time , 1950's and 1960's after Korean War.

Sincerely Yours,

(Name omitted by request)
