I believe nothing (e.g., ideology) is more important than to save starving children. I also believe that donations by South Koreans can help reduce the risk of war in the Korean peninsula, enhance the chance of South-North (economic) cooperation (which I believe is necessary to overcome South Korea's current economic crisis partly due to the weakening price competitiveness as a result of high wages), and reduce the cost of reunification (by helping the North Korean economy recover) in the long run.

I really appreciate your efforts to help starving North Koreans. Please let North Koreans know that many people in South Korea want to help them for humanitarian purposes (although they don't support their authoritarian regime). The animosity of North Koreans against the South Korean government and people is what we should avoid to reduce the tension and facilitate the cooperation, I believe. Thank you very much.
