Subject: Re: North Korean Donations

Dear Brandon,

Thank you very much for sending me the check for $400 from Inez and David D. Baskerville. I have just learned with a number of other dollar checks we have received that if I deposit them into The North Korean Flood Victim dollar account in the Sumitomo Bank in Tokyo they will all incur hefty banking charges which will reduce the amount which we will have left to buy rice. On the other hand I had recently been in the process of opening an account with a bank in New York but they have just come back to me requiring a Tax ID number for the organization "North Korean Flood Victims" which we have not applied for and without which they cannot open a non-personal account. Therefore I would appreciate if you could inquire if I can send the check back and have one made out simply to me, Bernard Krisher. I will then revert the funds to the flood victim account in cash and provide a receipt, list the names of donors on our Home Page and continue to inform everyone how the money has been spent. Sorry for the trouble. I look forward to hearing from you.

Best regards,

Bernie Krisher
