Localization of Macintosh software to Windows 98 was accomplished in less than half the time and cost required by traditional methods.

Telebody Inc. performed an in-depth analysis and stress test of Quicktime and devised a solution to many programming issues based on an actual conversion of professional Japanese pagesetting Macintosh software to run on Windows 98.

The new technology developed by Telebody allows Quicktime 4 to be used as a virtual Macintosh OS inside Windows, allowing six man-years of Macintosh source code to be compiled in Windows 98 using Metrowerks CodeWarrior and run using Mac and Windows commands at the same time.  90% of the original Macintosh resources and source code were useable without modification.

Telebody Inc. is available for technical development and consulting for Quicktime and Internet client-server software.  For more information about Telebody technology and business coordination services please contact Matt Rosin at mattr@telebody.com.
